Rachel Cohen grew up in Buffalo, NY photographing and filming various events around the city. Throughout high school, she managed to juggle her studies with additional film directing courses at The New York Film Academy. Rachel then pursed her passion for film by attending The New School where she earned her degree in Film & Media Studies. One of her proudest accomplishments during her matriculation was producing, directing, filming and editing a documentary based around the stages of her father's cancer. She was also highly active as a production assistant outside of the classroom as she worked on features such as, ‘Across the Sea’ and ‘The Mend’ also working on a promo for a fashion editorial ‘Cana Miel’. After graduation, Rachel moved to Los Angeles for a job at Starz Network. After Starz, Rachel worked as a Production Coordinator on promotional videos for Hallmark’s ‘Home & Family’ and ABC ‘The Taste’. She then moved on to work for William Morris Endeavor as a coordinator in the production department team which represented many cinematographers, editors, productions designers, costume designers and line producers that provided her the opportunity to learn the business of features, commercials, and music videos.
Nicole Taylor Franzen
Born and raised in Miami, FL, Nicole Taylor Franzen moved to NYC to pursue a career in Film. While majoring in Film & Media Studies at The New School University, she freelanced for many production companies such as Zoomari Films and also worked under director Henry-Alex Rubin. Shortly after, she moved to Paris, France to study film at the American University of Paris. After graduating college, Nicole began working for Univision in Miami, FL to edit and produce a documentary-series called OUTPOST. During this time Nicole also took on the role of social media manager for Univision’s Documentary Department. OUTPOST premiered on HBO Latino with executive producer Pharrell Williams. After three years of working with the OUTPOST team, Nicole decided to move to Los Angeles to produce content for Airbnb Experiences. After a year and a half with Airbnb, Nicole was brought on to work with Tastemade, where she currently produces and edits for their HQ in Los Angeles.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Vivi Rojas moved to New York City to attend the The New School University. Vivi majored in Sound Engineering and Design while interning in both the New York as well as Los Angeles branches of Interscope Geffen A&M Records. During college she discovered her passion was in Film and continued her journey abroad. She moved to Florence where she became an assistant production sound mixer to documentary filmmaker David Battistella. After college, Vivi moved back to Los Angeles where she worked as the Assistant Sound Engineer for The CW’s hit TV series “My Crazy Ex Girlfriend”. She later explored a different department in sound and worked as a Foley Editor for Sinc Sound Productions, where she worked with Geordy Sincavage on award winning films like “The Revenant”, “Nocturnal Animals” and “The Witch”. Vivi was a Freelance sound designer during this time and worked on numerous Feature Films and Documentaries found on IMDB. After two years Vivi began working at Beacon Street Studios in Venice, California, where she is currently one of three sound designers.
