CHI CHI Is a twisted coming of age journey exploring the ramifications of losing control in the lush, vibrant, tropical Miami environment. Inspired by a true story, the film takes place in 1984 and follows Ava, a young, naïve student living under her father’s watchful eye, as she meets a smooth talking, deathly man and gets swept into a world of excess, luxury , drugs, and partying. Ultimately, Ava has to choose between loyalty and self-preservation.
